Ralph Cave is a humble 68-year-old powerful modern blues player born at home on Christmas Eve in a small village outside of Cincinnati Ohio. He was taught to play the blues by his father who was taught to play the blues by his father. Ralph has played professionally since he was twenty.
In 2003 Ralph formed the Ralph and The Rhythm Hounds band to carry on the tradition of passing on the blues to the next generation of players. The band features his son, Noah Cave. Noah started honing his blues skills at age 11 by playing with legendary blues players in the Cincinnati area.
The remaining band members are drummers- Calvin Todd and John Griffin, and bassists – J Scarr and David Enderle. The band members thank their wives for their loving support, fans and all of the wonderful people who have kindly helped Ralph and The Rhythm Hounds play the Cincinnati Blues.
