Joe and Jack Waters formed their duo when Joe played a set with his dad at the Trolley Stop a bar in Dayton OH. Joe was only five years old, and he played harp to his dad’s resonator guitar.
For the past 17 years the father/son duo have played at various bars, festivals , night clubs , house parties, and various contests .
The first time that Joe and Jack played at the IBC as a duo, they represented Columbus, and they made it to the semi-finals. They went back for a second time to the ICB representing Columbus with a four piece band.
Joe and Jack feel that tradition is very important and combine this with a wide variety of blues styles. These two have been involved with blues for awhile now and have every intention of keeping the blues alive!
